Sport and Exercise are important to reduce the incidence of coronary artery disease: lowering blood pressure; preventing obesity; reducing the risk of colon cancer; reducing the risk of non insulin-dependent diabetes; minimising the risk of osteoporosis and other benefits (MacAuley, 1999) . Physical fitness implies not only a reduced risk of above mentioned problems, but an enhanced self-esteem and an increased sense of well being.

This section is being created to provide information to the public about the benefits of Sport and Exercise. It will also serve to bring the various individuals and groups who partake in regular exercise and act as a virtual meeting place, where there could be useful exchange of related information. And in the process, find ways, to inspire others to get initiated into the habit.
